My Experience
With more than 24 years of experience, I help businesses and individuals develop customized strategies for pursuing their financial goals. Having attained and maintained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF ®) designation, I have received training on the duties of good faith and standards of care, investment selection, insurance strategies, tax strategies, as well as estate planning issues and retirement planning strategies.
A lifelong resident of Gainesville, Georgia, I began my investment industry career with A.G. Edwards in 1996. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from The Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. I hold Series 7, 9 & 10, 63, and 65 securities licenses and life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities).
I am active in my community and currently serve as a board member of the House Corporation for Beta Delta Chapter, Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and as a member of the City of Gainesville Oversight Committee for Chattahoochee Golf Course.
I also served as a director for the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, past president of Chattahoochee Country Club, past chair of Hall County March of Dimes, chapter advisor for Beta Delta Chapter, Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, past board member for Friends of Gainesville Parks, past president of Friends of Don Carter State Park, member of the Gainesville Jaycees, participant in Leadership Hall County, and member of the Gainesville Planning and Appeals Board.
My wife, Loo, and I have two wonderful daughters, Lainie and Meg.
